Frequently Asked Questions

Want to learn more about being a Legion Transformation Centers fitness franchise owner? Here are answers to some frequently asked questions:

What kind of experience do I need to own a Legion Transformation Centers fitness franchise?

You do not need to be a fitness instructor or have prior experience in the fitness industry to join our franchise program. We look for franchise owners who will be actively involved in their center operations and who are passionate about our concept and the idea of helping people reach their wellness goals. We believe that people who share in our personal convictions about the benefits of fitness are likely to be most effective at operating their business. We provide options for a range of franchisee profiles, including single-unit franchises, conversions of qualified existing fitness facilities, and moving forward, we may also entertain multi-unit operating agreements with qualified candidates.

What is provided as part of the Legion Transformation Centers fitness franchise system?

You and your general manager will complete our initial headquarters-based management training program before opening your fitness franchise. This program will include both classroom and on-the-job training. We will also spend time at your location to provide on-site guidance around your center’s grand opening. Of course, after you are open for business, we will be there to provide remote support and ongoing guidance, and answer questions you may have. And, we will present you with a copy of our confidential operations manual to help you run your fitness franchise properly on a day-to-day basis.

How much will the Legion Transformation Centers fitness franchise investment cost me?

The projected investment for a start-up fitness franchise location is between $104,350 and $178,425. This investment amount includes an initial franchise fee of $30,000 (discounts available for conversion franchises). As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.

Are there any advertising fees?

There is a required minimum expenditure for local marketing and advertising. After the first 90 days, you should spend a minimum of $2,000 per month on local marketing efforts. In addition, franchisees will contribute $125 per week into the system brand fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Legion Transformation Centers brand and fund the creative costs to develop local franchise marketing materials and other promotional tools and campaigns.

What is the term of the franchise agreement?

The initial term of your franchise agreement is five years, with three subsequent successor options of five years each.
